[TERMS]
Terms of use
betteranatomy is a study aid made by Alex Awada, a medical student in Tbilisi. By creating an account you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose; read them.
1. The pilot
The site is in a free pilot for invited students. Access needs an invite code. Features, chapters and these terms may change; if they change in a way that matters, you'll be told before it applies.
2. Your account is yours alone
- One account per person. Don't share your login or your invite code.
- An account works on one device at a time. Opening it on another device logs the first one out.
- Accounts that look shared can be paused or closed.
3. The content
- The flashcards, quizzes, explanations, design and code are the work of betteranatomy and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study.
- You may not copy, record, screenshot in bulk, resell, publish or redistribute them, or try to get around the login, the device limit or the content lock.
- The 3D models are adapted from Z-Anatomy (CC BY-SA 4.0), derived from BodyParts3D © DBCLS. Those models stay under their own licence; see the credits at the bottom of every page.
- Page references point to the course textbook so you can check each fact. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the textbook's authors or publisher.
4. Accuracy
Every card is checked against the textbook, but mistakes can happen. Use the "Report an error" link on any card or structure and it goes straight to the fix list. betteranatomy is a study aid only: it is not medical advice and must never be used to make decisions about a real patient.
5. Fair use of the site
Don't attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the site, and don't use it to harm anyone. Doing so ends your access.
6. Ending your account
You can ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time (see the privacy policy). Access can be ended for breaking these terms.
7. Liability
The pilot is provided free and "as is". As far as the law allows, betteranatomy isn't liable for exam results, lost progress, or damage caused by using or not being able to use the site.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Questions: hello@betteranatomy.app.
